| 4.1. | Those individuals who are registered under the above exemptions will be provisionally registered and will be required to meet the following conditions of their registration: |
| 4.1.1. | Comply with annual targets for the achievement of stipulated educational goals: |
| 4.1.1.1. | Complete the relevant no. of modules per year as per their outcome letter. |
| 4.1.1.2. | Complete the relevant no. of validated CPD courses per year as per their outcome letter. |
| 4.1.2. | if 4.1.1. is not met the registration certificate will be suspended. The suspension will only be lifted once the stipulated goals are achieved. |
| 4.1.3. | if 4.1.1. is not met for two consecutive years the registration certificate will be cancelled. |
Candidature Requirements
| 4.1. | Notwithstanding the LSD requirements, Candidates must also adhere to the terms of the SACPCMP Rules for Registration, 2025 including, but not limited the following: |
4.1.1. Perform work only under the supervision and control of a registered professional in good standing in the relevant category;
| 4.1.2. | Complete a Structured Candidacy Programme within a maximum of seven (7) years; |
| 4.1.3. | Maintain logbooks signed by mentors or supervisors (registered professional in good standing in the relevant category); |
| 4.1.4. | Submit annual logbook reports; |
| 4.1.5. | Acquire mentorship in accordance with a mentorship agreement; and |
| 4.1.6. | Maintain annual registration through payment of prescribed fees. |
| 4.2. | For candidates registered under the Limited Special Dispensation, the requirement to upgrade their qualification shall commence within the first three (3) years of their candidature, calculated from 1 April of the financial year immediately following the date of their initial registration under the LSD. |
| 4.3. | Failure to comply with the above (namely section 4 of this notice) may result in suspension or cancellation of candidate registration. |
Candidates Transitional Arrangements
All candidates who are registered or applying under the Limited Special Dispensation between 01 August 2025 and 30 July 2027 shall be deemed to be included under this Amendment Notice.
