13. Procedure before Commencement of an Inquiry

The Ombud shall explain to a person who has been summonsed before the inquiry—

 

(a) the purpose of the inquiry;

 

(b) the inquisitorial nature of the inquiry;

 

(c) the procedure that will be followed;

 

(d) the confidentiality of the inquiry; and

 

(e) that the proceedings will be recorded.
