Social Housing Act, 2008 (Act No. 16 of 2008)

Regulations

(1)	The social housing institution must have effective maintenance procedures and provisions to ensure that buildings retain their value.

(2)	Repairs and maintenance procedures must be in place for—

(a)	emergency repairs on account of services malfunctioning;

(b)	routine maintenance; and

(c)	planned maintenance.

(3)	The Social Housing Institution must insure the housing stock, including insurance for replacement.
