| (1) | Subject to the provisions of section 51C of the Magistrates Court Act, 1944, any party may make an application for evidence to be given by means of audio-visual facility. |
| (2) | A court making an order in terms of sub-rule (1) may give such directions which it considers appropriate for the taking and recording of such evidence. |
