2. Head's powers and duties

(1)The Minister of Public Service and Administration determined, in terms of section 3(4)(b)(i) of the Public Service Act, 1994, the following functions for the IA:
(a)facilitating state security training of persons in the state security establishment; and
(b)promoting quality education and training by establishing and operating an Intelligence Education and Training Quality Assurance Authority.

 

(2)The Head must ensure the performance of the functions of the IA.
