Members of the Authority may exercise all their powers under this Act and must—
| (a) | perform all their duties in terms of this Act; |
| (b) | act in a justifiable and transparent manner whenever the exercise of their discretion is required; |
| (c) | at all times act in the interest of the Authority and not in their own or sectoral interersts; |
| (d) | act independently of any undue influence or instruction; |
| (e) | recuse themselves from and refrain from voting on or discussing any matter before the Authority in which they have a direct or indirect interest; and |
| (f) | act in a manner that is required and expected from the holder of a public office. |
