I, Mpho Parks Tau, the Minister of Trade, Industry and Competition, in terms of section 15(1) and Section 14(1B) of the Merchandise Marks Act, 1941 (Act No. 17 of 1941), permits the use of the South African National Flag and the Coat of Arms as depicted in Annexure 1-3. The permission to use the South African National Flag and the Coat of Arms as depicted in Annexure 1-3 will be perpetual and absolute in nature, provided the correct requirements for use of the the South African National Flag and the Coat of Arms are maintained. The Applicant is Maskew Miller Learning (Pty) Ltd.
The design and integrity of the South African National Flag and the Coat of Arms must be maintained in its correct proportions.
