Chapter 9 : General

37. Obtaining of AARTO forms

(1)Issuing authorities must order the following printed AARTO  forms, as contained in Schedule 1, from the Government Printing Works:
(a)AARTO 01: Infringement notice (handwritten);
(b)AARTO 31: Notice in respect of unattended vehicle (handwritten); and
(c)AARTO 32: Record of Particulars of an Offence.

 

(2)

(a)The following printed AARTO forms, contained in Schedule 1, may be ordered by issuing authorities from the Government Printing Works or downloaded from the AARTO website and printed:
(i)AARTO 04: Arrangement to pay in instalments;
(ii)AARTO 07: Nomination of driver or person in control;
(iii)AARTO 08: Application for Representation;
(iv)AARTO 08A:  Notification of Suspect or False prosecution
(v)AARTO 10A: Application for Appeal or Review;
(vi)AARTO  11A: Application for Rehabilitation;
(vii)AARTO 14: Application for revocation of an enforcement order;
(viii)AARTO 23: Application for return of suspended documents;
(ix)AARTO 25: Application for refunding of monies;
(x)AARTO 27:  Application to access demerit points status;
(xi)AARTO 34:  Application for Condonation.
(b)The forms referred to in paragraph (a) must be made available for use by infringers at all issuing authorities , registering authorities and driving licence testing centres.

 

(3)Form AARTO 02 must be obtained from the Authority and installed on electronic equipment used at the roadside for the electronic generation and printing of notices.

 

(4)All other forms shown in Schedule 1 and not listed in subregulations (1) to (3), are available on the National Road Traffic Offences Register and must be generated and processed on the Register.
