PROCLAMATION

by the

President of the Republic of South Africa

The Presidency

I, hereby, in terms of section 24(1)(a) of the Political Party Funding Act 2018 (Act No. 6 of 2018) (the Act), and acting on a Resolution adopted by the National Assembly on 20 May 2025 determine that the amounts contemplated in sections 8(2) and 9(1)(a) of the Act shall be as follows:—

1.	Thirty million rand in a financial year as being the amount referred to in section 8(2) (upper limit of donations) of the Act; and

2.	Two hundred thousand rand in a financial year as being the amount referred to in section 9(1)(a) (disclosure limit) of the Act.
