Castle Management Act, 1993 (Act No. 207 of 1993)

Notwithstanding the provisions of section 4(4), a member, except a member mentioned in paragraph (b) or (f) of section 4(1), may, with due regard to the requirements of the rules of natural justice, be removed from office by the Board or, upon application by any body or person having locus standi, by any competent court on account of misconduct or unwillingness or inability to efficiently perform the duties of his or her office or, except in the case of the member appointed as chairperson in terms of section 4(2), by reason of his or her absence from two consecutive meetings of the Board without prior permission of the chairperson, except on good cause shown.
